Beyoncé Giselle Knowles Carte was born in Houston, Texas, on September 4, 1981. She is the daughter of Celestine and Mathew Knowles. Her younger sister Solange is a singer and a former backup dancer for Destiny’s Child. Beyoncé is currently married to Jay Z, who is also known for being one of the richest rappers in the world.
