Spider Monday is here and that means it’s time for the much-awaited tickets to drop for the biggest movie event of the year — ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. Are you ready? We have all the information you need for the tickets ahead of the biggest and grandest Marvel Cinematic Universe movie this year. Before that, we’re clarifying that Cyber Monday was dubbed Spider Monday just for the ticket sales to kick off.

What to expect in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’

After Mysterio (the villain in ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’) makes Peter Parker’s name public as the face behind the spider mask, all hell breaks loose for our hero, played by the charming Tom Holland.

The third installment of the ‘Spider-Man’ movie series sees Peter Parker team up with Doctor Strange, played by the enigmatic Benedict Cumberbatch. They’re on a mission to help repair the multiverse after a spell accidentally goes wrong. This causes villains from past (alternate dimensions) of ‘Spider-Man’ films to find their way into the Marvel universe.

Ready for Spider (Cyber) Monday?

The film is the third chapter in the MCU Spider-Man trilogy. It will see Tom Holland’s character Peter Parker face off against villains from both the Sam Raimi-directed ‘Spiderman’ trilogy featuring Tobey Maguire and ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ films directed by Marc Webb starring Andrew Garfield.

Along with the final trailer’s release world over just over a week ago, fans are now looking forward to the purchase of the ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ tickets. The most awaited grand sale starts on November 29, which happens to be Cyber Monday. The day has been dubbed Spider Monday to highlight the start of the tickets sales

The day the tickets find their way home

Sony has dubbed the day Cyber-Spider-Monday as it falls on the same day as Cyber Monday. The Monday after Thanksgiving and Black Friday, for those of y’all who don’t know. The official Twitter page for ‘Spider-Man gave us the big news that tickets will go on sale on Monday, November 29, 2021. This gives us three weeks to buy the tickets for ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, which will release in theaters worldwide on December 17, 2021.

The time the tickets find their way home

While the exact timing of the sale of tickets was a mystery, it’s not a secret anymore. For those who would like to be the first to get the tickets, it was revealed that tickets for ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ will be available for purchase from Monday, November 29, from 12.01 pm ET. What are you waiting for? Get those tickets early and reserve your spot for what is probably the biggest movie opening night of the year on December 17.

How far did the prequel go?

The tickets for the prequel ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ were available at about 6 am PT. After the global cultural phenomenon of ‘Avengers: Endgame’, the next chapter in the MCU was ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’. The movie received a rousing early reception from movie fans.

‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ grossed over $1.1 billion worldwide, making it the first Spider-Man film to pass the billion-dollar mark. It was also Sony Pictures’ highest-grossing and most profitable film.

The thrill of the Multiverse

Spider-Man turns focus heavily on the multiverse in the latest ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ film. The multiverse was touched upon in ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’. Do you remember when Mysterio lies about his past that he came from another world? That’s where it all began.

Remember the turn of events at the end of ‘Loki’ where multiple branches of the universe break out? This multiverse is what will create new problems for Peter Parker as he messes up Dr Strange’s spell while trying to get everyone to forget that he is Spider-Man.

From the trailer, it looks like this sparks a chain reaction where all the villains from across the spider-verse converge. They end up giving Tom Holland’s hero a nightmarish fight of his life in his timeline. Those we can see from the trailer include the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), Electro (Jamie Foxx), Lizard (Rhys Ifans) and Sandman (Thomas Hayden Church).

Will the Box Office hit home?

Most Marvel Studios movies confirm ticket sales ahead of time so we can expect the same in the 27th MCU movie. The tickets will be available for purchase three weeks before the highly-anticipated movie. However, it’s still too soon to tell how the box office will pan out.

Considering the hype behind the movie, it’s most likely that Marvel and Sony will capitalize on sales that day. Early projections state that the film will have the biggest opening weekend of 2021 and the biggest since Covid-19 started.

According to Box Office predictions, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ will earn between $135 million and $185 million. Even at the lowest estimation, that would make ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ the biggest opening weekend of 2021. That also makes it the first film of the year to cross $100 million in its opening weekend.

Are you set to grab a seat in the wildest multiversal-spanning roller coaster spider ride ever? Go get those tickets!
