Jim is one half of the ‘70s hit group Seals and Crofts, where he teamed up with “Dash” Crofts.

Their controversial ‘Unborn Child’, an anti-abortion song, came out after the 1973 Roe vs Wade decision and was banned by some radio stations.

Seals died at his home outside of Nashville with his family at his side.
