Travelers don’t need to wear masks anymore: CDC mandate quashed

The TSA may no longer enforce the Covid-19 mask mandate on planes and public transit after a court ruling.

A federal judge in Florida struck down the mask mandate for airplanes and other public transports.

Airlines have been pressing for some time for the mandate to be removed.

However, the CDC recommends that people continue to wear masks in indoor public transportations.

Increasing opposition from officials has stressed for an extension of the mask mandate to be made by the CDC.

The Biden administration suspended the mask mandate after a judge said the CDC overstepped its authority.

While many airlines have already dropped the mandate, the order is currently under review.
